Oceania Cruises says "NO" to Kids onboard their small ship luxury cruises from today
"Changing to be an Adult's Only Cruise line following in the footsteps of Viking Cruises and Virgin Voyages is the sensible thing to do for a small ship luxury cruise line, who's main focus is the destination and dining experience" Says our Cruise Deals GM Jeff Leckey who has cruised on Oceania many times
Our typical Oceania customer is looking for a relaxing holiday onboard, where they can experience a serene atmosphere and an unhurried pace advises Jason Montague, Oceania's Luxury Cruise officer. The primary reason Oceania guests return time and time again is to experience the tranquil environment on board defined by sophistication, serenity and discovery
This new approach bans all Kids under the age of 18 and is the result of extensive research and feedback from loyal repeat Oceania cruisers, travel agents and new to brand passengers
Both Viking and Virgin Voyages have proven, there is no shortage of luxury travellers looking for a holiday experience without having to deal with "Other People's Kids"
Existing bookings will be honoured, but from today no new bookings will be accepted for childen under the age of 18
Controversial choice or Sensible approach, what do you think?
